Back in NZ

I have arrived back in Christchurch.

I was surrounded by a tour group from Taiwan on their way to NZ for a 10-day trip. It felt like I was flying to Taiwan as I sat amongst them listening to the Taiwanese dialect - very homey. I fell asleep at 4am after much effort to get into a comfy position in the narrow seat.

Suddenly, the lights turned on. "What! Why are the lights on?"

ooohhh no.. it was only just past 5am, and they were getting ready to serve breakfast.. my goodness, I really had no appetite. On the menu, dry pork fried rice - that was really dry.. I think I was pretty dehydrated after eating.

After landing, customs were staring at all the Chinese spice packets mum had requested for me to purchase in Malaysia. They smell a bit and I really hope mum appreciate this because the other contents in that luggage bag all smell like spices - mmm, fish odoured dresses are the new look.

I spent the rest of that day showing off my purchases to my family. My mum was not that enthusiastic of the perfume I bought her from Sinagapore airport. It was Elizabeth Arden "ArdenBeauty" and I spent a hour in the dutyfree shop smelling EVERY perfume to find this one for her... But my dad and my sisters like it!

I went to bed at midnight, and didnt wake up till Anita came into my room at 1:30pm today! My goodness, that was a lot of beauty sleep!
